CURVA MIAGAO And MAMAANON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Teachers are the makers of all the professionals. There might be no engineers, doctors, nurses, attorneys and all the other professionals without the teachers. But are they honoured and respected above all the professionals? Maybe some are, but mostly not, especially when people know the status of their salaries that are almost owned by the debtors or lenders.

In spite of this, we can see them working hard in molding the youth to become good citizens in the future. Their immeasurable effort is the most important thing that must be recognized and be given a sort of tribute or an appreciation.

Curva Miagao Elementary School and Mamaanon Elementary School celebrated the World Teachers’ Day on October 5, 2009 during the flag ceremony to let the teachers know how much they are loved and admired by their pupils. The short program was hosted by the grade six pupils and participated by all other pupils. The following were the activities that they did:

1.    Giving fresh flowers to their favourite teachers.
2.    Giving cards/notes to teachers.
3.    Reading tributes to teachers.
